1000 Days

From Thursday 3rd December there will be just 1,000 days to go until the start of the London Paralympic Games, to celebrate, there will be an afternoon of free entertainment on Saturday 5 December 2009.

1pm-4pm
Walthamstow Town Square

There will be a whole range of on-stage performers to entertain you, and you'll have the chance to try out disability sports including wheelchair basketball, boccia and resistance sliding. You'll also be able to find out about sports and leisure opportunities in the borough, and find out the latest from the Council's 2012 team.
The event is completely free and there'll be something for everyone. Come along, get involved, and fight the winter blues by doing something active and fun.
