Redbridge is joining the countdown to London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games with sports, arts, entertainers, music and food at a family fun day on Sunday 26 July.  Wei

Inspiration 09 will be held at Valentines Park from 12noon until 6pm and is part of the London 2012 Open Weekend supported by BP - a series of events across the country enabling access to excellence in the arts, culture and sport and celebrating three years to go until the Games in London.

The free event includes Chinese Lion dancers, Dhol drummers, circus performers, magicians and jugglers or try out a range of activities including street dance, opera, and silent disco and circus skills. 

There will also be a range of 'have-a-go' sports on offer including indoor rowing, tennis, basketball, athletics, aerobics, trampolining, hula hooping and inflatable volleyball as well as a chance to enjoy a taste of Asia at the event through exotic food and drink, cultural music and performances, art and crafts.
