7. Redbridge Mini Games
WRS returns to Redbridge Mini Games for the 3rd year on Wednesday 30th March 2011. The RMG is the largest sporting event for primary school children (in year 5 and 6) in the borough. All primary schools (900 children from 45 primary schools) are invited to enter this sporting event and give their pupils the opportunity to compete in a choice of seven different sports including:
- 3-on-3 Basketball
- 6-a-side Football
- High-5 Netball
- Mini Hockey
- Sportshall Athletics
- Swimming Gala
- Tag Rugby
- There is also a Boccia competition that is open to schools that cater for children with disabilities.
